Objective

Move all 4 pegs from their BULLPEN to the START position to HOME ROW. When you have all your pegs in the HOME ROW, you can then move your partner's pegs on your turn. When both yours and your partners' pegs are in their HOME ROWS, the game is over and you have WON!

The Start/Dealing

The Dealer ALWAYS deals himself/herself first and starts the play.
1st Hand Dealer deals everyone 5 cards
2nd Hand Dealer deals everyone 4 cards
3rd Hand Dealer deals everyone 4 cards & keeps the last 2 cards. Dealer now has 6 cards. Dealer discards 2 cards face-up before making first play.

Seven Sends pegs it passes back to their BULLPEN (even your own). Does not apply to pegs in the HOME ROW. Pegs cannot be passed in the HOME ROW. Can split the 7 spaces between ANY of your pegs on the board. All 7 must be used.
Four Moves back 4 spaces N/A
All Other Cards Face Value and move forward N/A

Other Rules

You must play the cards in your hand, even if it goes against you or your partner. If you can play you must. Otherwise discard a card or throw your hand in.
A card laid is a card played. If you play / lay a card and it is playable you must use it. EXCEPTION: If it is impossible to play that card and you have a "playable" card(s) then you must pick up that unusable card and play a usable one.
If your cards are not playable you may throw them in on your turn. Once thrown in they are not retrievable.
If a peg lands in the same hole as another peg, the peg that was there first gets sent back to the BULLPEN.
Seven is the ONLY card that can be split between two or more of your pegs. (or your partners' if all 4 of yours are in the HOME ROW).
If you put your last peg in the last home hole and have not used all of your SEVEN, you can use the rest on ONE of your partners' pegs.
When you are in the HOME ROW, you cannot jump over your own pegs.
When you are in the HOME ROW, you are safe.
You must have the exact amount to get your pegs into the HOME ROW
If someone else's peg is in your START position and you 'come out', that peg gets sent back to it's BULLPEN
